1) Why should I renew?

2) When should I renew?
As soon as possible, because this is the best way to avoid unwished deactivations! By delaying your renewals you will only run useless risks. By renewing in advance the expiration date of your domain and services will not change! They will still expire one year after their activation date.
Steps to renewal:
- -30 days: You will receive the first expiry warning email. All communications are sent to the address specificated in the purchasing. In this phase you can renew by paying in slip.
- -15 days: Second expiry warning. We suggest you renew then: in the email you will find a link that will allow you to access directly to your control panel and start the procedure.
- -7 days: To avoid the deactivation of all your services, renew must occur within the date reported in your contro panel. Do not wait until the deadline to renew.
- +5 days: Deactivation: All the services linked to your domain get automatically deactivated one day after your domain expires. You can still renew the domain inside the control panel: all the services will be reactivated in few hours.
- longer than 5 days: Definitive cancellation of your domain. In few cases you will be able to recover your domain after this date but you will be charged an extra fee up to 160 euro.
- Definitive cancellation: Anybody can register your domain. Attention! if you are interested in the domain don't wait until the last minute! There are people who register non-renewd domains for illecit purposes.
3) How can I renew?
The quickest and easiest way to renew is to click the renewal link you will find in your expiry warning emails. Click it and you will be immediately directed to your control panel's renewal page.
Otherwise, you can easily renew by accessing your Control Panel and by clicking the link "Renewals" in the top bar.
Three important pieces of advice
- 1. Always keep all your data up to date, address, telephone and mobile number and especially email address. This way you will receive all of our expiry warnings.
- 2. Renew as soon as you can. Very often our clients cannot renew on time because they discover at the very last minute that their credit card has expired or that it does not have enough balance. Realising it on time will allow you to use other payment options.
- 3. Do not ignore our expiry warnings. Please do not ignore our expiry warnings , make sure that your email and anti spam filters are not blocking our messages and add your domain ito your safe contact list.
