Transfer your domains to Nominalia
Carefully read the instructions listed on this page, necessary for correctly and quickly completing this procedure, and start the transfer to Nominalia

Do you want to transfer a .ES OR A .CAT domain?
- Check the email address: The Register who is going to receive the domain name sends a confirmation e-mail to the administrative contact on the Whois. Once confirmed the transference, we apply for the domain to the origin Register, who would confirm by e-mail the transference’s application. Once confirmed for the second time, the domain name gets transferred.
- Check the expiry date: The .ES domain cannot be in renewal period. This renewal period begins 15 days before the expiry date and finishes when the domain expires. If applying for a transference relating to a .CAT domain name renewed after the expiration date (on the other Register), the extension period would not be for a year. In this case, you could only transferee the domain name extending a year after 45 days from the payment date.
- Authorization Code: If you would like to change your registrar for some of .CAT domains, you must request the "Auth Info" (registration authorization code) from your current registrar before filling in our form.
Do you want to transfer a .COM, .NET, .ORG?
- Check the status of your domain at http://www.internic.net/whois.html. Only if the domain is in status ACTIVE or status OK it will be transferable. For all other cases, we suggest you contact your current Registrar and request change of the domain status.
- Check the email address: before starting the procedure, check whether the email address of the domain administrator is active. If it isn't, it will be impossible to complete the transfer.
- Check the expiry date: before starting the procedure, make sure your domain has not expired and that it will not expire after ten days of the transfer request. If it is, you first have to renew it at the previous Registrar. You will be able to request transfer to Nominalia only after renewal has been performed.
Please also remember that the operation can be performed only if the domain you intend to transfer has been registered for longer than 60 days. - Forms: we will take care of sending the necessary forms to the competent Registration Authority for the transfer of the following domains: .com, .net o .org.

Do you want to transfer a .EU domain?
- Check the domain assignee email address on EURid site at www.whois.eu- Before starting the procedure, make sure the email address of the domain assignee is active. If it isn’t, it will be impossible to complete the transfer. EURid will send a confirmation email to the email address currently found in the whois. Only after the assignee has given consent, will the domain be transferred.
- Check the domain assignee data - To complete the change of registrar operation, the domain assignee must be the same; otherwise you will have to perform a change of owner operation. In the case of domains registered under juridical persons, you can check the assignee data on EURid site at www.whois.eu. If the domain is registered under the name of a physical person, you will only be able to view their email address.
- Authorization Code: If you would like to change your registrar for some of domains, you must request the "Auth Info" (registration authorization code) from your current registrar before filling in our form.

REMEMBER!
The transfer procedure is always started and managed by the new Registrar (for the domains .com,.net, .org), never by the previous Registrar/Maintainer.
